Inviting case capsules for IDC2025
Dear fellow colleagues and students,
I hope this message finds you well. This time International Dysphagia Conclave 2025, will be held at the NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru, from October 30 to November 1, 2025.
The Conclave will feature a grand rounds theme with case discussions and didactics spread across three days, focusing on advancing clinical practice and research in dysphagia. We are inviting esteemed institutions, hospitals, and dedicated dysphagia clinics to submit case series/capsules for discussion on various topics, including but not limited to:
Brainstem strokes
Cortical strokes/critical illness
Traumatic brain injury
Partial Laryngectomy/Laser excisions
Complex oral surgeries
Oropharyngeal irradiations
Motor-neuron disease/amyotropic lateral sclerosis
Parkinson’s, Parkinson’s plus, and disease
Pneumonia and infective etiologies
Drug-induced dyaphagia
Cerebral palsy
Hypersensitivity - Child psychiatric issues
Critical illness and hospitalization
Neurocognitive disorders
Psychogenic dysphagia
Trauma & Iatrogenic conditions
Post intubation dysphagia
Failure to thrive
Cleft lip and palate
Last mile rehabilitation
Esophageal motility disorders
Corrosive strictures
While some of the submissions are already done, we would like to showcase every case that comes our way. This is not a research presentation. This is focused on case discussions.
Submission Guidelines:
Format: Case capsules should include a brief and relevant case history, diagnostic findings, clinical decision-making, management strategies, and challenges with discussion points. Further communication on the format will follow.
Topics: Proposals should align with dysphagia-related clinical practice themes.
Submission Deadline: July 15, 2025.

Selection: Selected cases will be featured in grand round discussions, with presenters invited to lead sessions and collaborate with global experts.
This is a unique opportunity to showcase your institution’s expertise, contribute to the global discourse on dysphagia, and network with leading professionals in the field. Accepted submissions will be acknowledged by 1 August, 2025, with further details on presentation format and scheduling.
